The Sanctuary at Wildwood sits on over 90 acres of woods and meadows in Southwest Michigan. This natural sanctuary provides security for two herds of whitetail deer, as well as the  many waterfowl who regularly visit the pond. In keeping with the natural beauty of the surroundings, owners, Dick and Dolly Buerkle have chosen to continue the emphasis upon nature into the lodge itself.  In our Southern Michigan Bed and Breakfast Inn, Guests rooms incorporate the splendor of the outdoor surroundings within the decor of each guest room at our bed and breakfast. From your private balcony or deck in any of the Inn's five suites, you can watch the ever-changing panorama of nature from dusk to dawn, throughout the four seasons of the year. The views from the Great Room and Dining Room in our Sanctuary at Wildwood Inn are equally breathtaking. As many as 60 Canadian Geese have descended upon the pond and spent a leisurely Sunday afternoon before proceeding to their destination. The Great Blue Heron, the inspiration for the Inn's logo, visits the pond morning and evening during the summer months, and deer and wild turkeys can be seen year round.  These surroundings provide for romantic escapes and relaxing lodging.

• Accommodations: Five exceptional Jacuzzi fireplace suites with unique murals on the walls defining the name of each room. Six cottage Jacuzzi, Fireplace suites.

• Rates: $159.00-$219.00 Special Weekday Rates

• Reservations: Advanced reservations recommended, Email, call 269- 244-5910, toll free 800 249-5910 or go through your travel agent. There is a two day minimum stay on weekends and a three day minimum stay on holidays.

• Payment: One half of total payment is required as deposit, VISA, AMEX, DISC, MC, check, traveler's check, money orders, and cash are accepted.

• Cancellation Policy: Total contracted amount required in advance.  Deposit refunded if cancellation is  received 7 days in advance, minus a $20 handling fee. 30 day cancellation notice required for special in events or more than two room reservations.

• Restrictions: Please, No pets. Social drinking is accepted. Smoke free environment inside.

• Breakfast: A full country breakfast is served.

• Recreation & Activities: We offer many packages including canoeing,  golf, biking, skiing, Amish dinners and romantic packages.  Swimming, fishing, hiking and bird watching may also be enjoyed in our area.

"We have been visiting Dick and Dolly for many years. We always find time to go back at least twice a year. The Inn is gorgeous, the cottages are spectacular, scenery etc., etc. BUT the Inn is Dick and Dolly. From the moment you step through the doors, you are in the company of two of the warmest people you would want to meet. After a few minutes, you no longer feel like a visitor but a friend. Dick is very knowledgeable about the area attractions and the best restaurants to go to whether you want something a little more upscale or a good pizza. Dolly makes the BEST breakfast ever and she is truly the heart of the Inn. Most importantly, there is a sense of peace and tranquility that immediately relaxes your tired body and renews the spirit. You leave, somewhat reluctantly, feeling renewed and ready to tackle the daily grind again. There aren't enough stars out there to rate this Inn; it is spectacular."
