Greetings and Happy Early Spring to all!
Winter has been kind and gentle compared to other years but we are looking forward to SPRING. While winter has been a time of reflection, we’re looking forward to seeing many of you sometime this year. Think Spring!
MARCH RETREAT
The last March Scrapbook Weekend is scheduled for March 10th and 11th. The theme for this retreat is SURVIVOR…..who will outwit/outlast/outplay and out-scrap??? Come and see for yourself who goes home with the prize! Reserve now while there is still availability. The next weekend for this event will be November 3rd and 4th. This is a very popular retreat and is filling up fast so………don’t procrastinate-Call Now!
IRISH MONTH
To commemorate spring and St. Paddy’s Day we will celebrate March as Irish month. The following are some of the happenings in the area for March 17th:
Corned Beef and Cabbage/Green Beer & Bagpipes- Fisher Lake Inn
Irish Stew and Green Beer – Gallagher’s
Corned Beef and Cabbage & Irish Music – Brewster’s
Come early and celebrate the heart-thumping Irish music of “Kennedy’s Kitchen” at the Three Rivers Carnegie Art Center on Sunday, March 12th at 3PM. You’ll hear the lilting sounds of the tin whistle, guitar, bodhran (Irish traditional drum), fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and flute…..Great way to spend a delightful Sunday afternoon before heading home. If you come for the weekend, we will provide free tickets for the event and there will be a late check-out for guests on Sunday!
For all the guests arriving during the month of March, we will provide complimentary, chilled Irish beer in your in-room refrigerator.
The April events include folk music at its BEST at the Carnegie Arts Center with Ray Kamalay and Joel Mabus on April 2nd at 3pm. Put this date on your calendar so you don’t miss it!
